Company & Process FAQs
Our installers follow current manufacturer standards tied to Alumawood certification and complete training required for accurate system assembly. Homeowners can confirm installer status through the Find My Dealer page to ensure their project is handled by a qualified team approved for the product line. You can also explore Alumawood reviews online from our certified installers.
From initial quote to installation, a typical timeline is 4 to 6 weeks depending on permitting, material lead-time, and site readiness. Faster returns on design approvals and clear access to the outdoor living space for installers accelerate the process.
Alumawood installers manage the engineering documentation, permit submission, and coordinate with local authorities when required. Your role is to provide property specifics and sign necessary documents so the project can move forward without delay.
Payment typically follows a staged schedule tied to contract signing, permit issuance and final install. Additionally, financing options are available to assist homeowners who prefer manageable monthly payments when investing in the Alumawood system.
Alumawood installers coordinate required inspections with the building department. You don’t usually need to be present unless the inspector requires access to locked outdoor spaces. Advance notice is provided so your site is ready and no time is wasted.
If unexpected site conditions (soil, grade, structural constraints) are found during installation, the issue will be documented, options will be presented including cost or schedule impacts, and your Alumawood patio cover project will proceed only after you approve a change order.
Alumawood installers will use ground and surface protection in active work areas and keep plants and hardscape clear of debris. Crews complete cleanup at the end of the workday so your yard stays orderly throughout the aluminum patio cover installation.
Alumawood solid panel, insulated panel, and lattice patio covers come with a transferable limited lifetime warranty covering the finish and structure. For any warranty claim we will inspect, verify coverage, and coordinate repair, refinishing or replacement based on the policy.
